Ethically Guidelines
Ethics in Publication for IRJACS
Responsibility of Authors
When submitting to IRJACS, authors should adhere strictly to the following ethical guidelines:
- Ensure the submitted manuscript is original and has not been copied from any other source.
- Confirm that the manuscript is not under consideration or peer review at any other publication.
- Please verify that all co-authors have reviewed the final version of the manuscript and consent to its submission to IRJACS.
Publishing Standards
- Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest that could influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript.
- Obtaining permission for any copyrighted material used within the manuscript, such as figures, tables, or extensive text excerpts, is imperative.
Acknowledgement of Sources
- Authors must acknowledge all data sources used in the research and cite publications that have influenced the nature of the reported work.
- Permission must be obtained for any use of personal communications, and these sources should be explicitly acknowledged in the manuscript.
- If the manuscript includes previously published material, such as datasets, tables, or figures, the author must obtain permission from the copyright holders and provide full attribution.
Review Process
- Manuscripts submitted to IRJACS undergo a rigorous peer review process conducted anonymously by at least two experts in the field.
- The journal’s editorial panel relies on these external reviews to make informed decisions, following a strict double-blind peer review policy.
- Authors may inquire about the status of their review but should limit such inquiries to no more than once every two weeks to avoid disrupting the editorial process.
Prior Publication
- Submissions must significantly differ from any previously published works by the authors. Manuscripts should be at least 70% unique compared to earlier publications and must reference the previous work.
- Authors should disclose any prior dissemination of the data, including presentations at conferences or publications in other journals, which might be considered previous publications.
Plagiarism Policy
- IRJACS employs TURNITIN, a sophisticated plagiarism detection software, to screen submitted articles for plagiarism.
- Plagiarism encompasses directly copying textual material, substantial elements of someone else’s work, and paraphrasing content without appropriate acknowledgement.
- Authors are expected to meticulously cite all references and sources that have significantly contributed to the development of the manuscript, ensuring transparency and upholding scholarly integrity.
By adhering to these extended ethical guidelines, IRJACS ensures the integrity of the scholarly record and promotes a transparent, ethical practice in the publication of significant scientific research.
